Stargate of the Inca Civilization
In 1533, Spanish conquistadors arrived at the borders of the Incan empire. They penetrated quickly inward, cutting a path with steel, looting and plundering as they did. In one Incan town, a priest named Amaru Ramu waited for the conquerors to arrive, cradling close to him his community’s prized possession, a small golden disk they called the “key of the gods of the seven rays.”
As the Spanish got closer, Amaru Ramu decided to flee into the mountains around Lake Titicaca, taking the precious disk with him, lest the Spanish get their hands on it. There, hidden amongst the rocky peaks, he came across a group of holy men guarding what appeared to be a large doorway carved into a mountain. The men began to tell Amaru Ramu the story of this doorway, proclaiming that it was a portal they called the ‘Gate of the Gods,’ which, when opened, led to the world where Incan deities resided. Great heroes of the past, they explained, had traveled through the door when their time on earth was complete. There was even a prophecy that one day the gate would open, much wider than it had before, and the gods would return to earth.
Intrigued, Amaru Ramu began to examine the doorway more closely. He noted a smaller door about the size of a human carved at the bottom. In the middle of this door was a small circular depression, about the exact size, he realized, of the golden disk he had brought with him. Curious, he took out the disk and placed it in the depression. It fit perfectly.
Suddenly, a blue light began emanating from the doorway, and the mythical portal began to open, as Amaru Ramu and the holy men alike stared in awe. Perhaps sensing what was to befall his Incan brethren at the hands of the Spanish, Amaru stepped through the door, “never to be seen again.”
Centuries later, this story had mostly been forgotten, reclined comfortably into the genre of myth. And perhaps there it would have stayed, if not for a man named Jose Luis Delgado.
The Discovery of the Gate of the Gods
In 1996, Delgado began to have a strange and extremely vivid recurring dream. In it, he stood before a stone doorway, which emanated a mysterious blue light. Perhaps the dream was little more than a result of stress; Delgado had just started a new job as a tour guide in the mountains of modern Peru, and he did not yet know the area well enough to feel comfortable leading the many tourists who passed through each year. To rectify this, he began to explore the area on foot, better acclimating himself with the vast surroundings.
One day, while doing just this, Delgado came across something which stunned him. There, deep in the mountains, was what appeared to be a large stone door, 25-feet tall and 25 wide, carved into the side of a mountain, with a smaller recessed door at its base, exactly the door Delgado had seen in his dream. As he described,
“When I saw the structure for the first time, I almost passed out. I have dreamed of such a construction repeatedly over the years. I have commented to my family many times about these dreams, and so when I finally gazed upon the doorway, it was like a revelation from God. How do you make order of such a strange occurrence?”
His discovery brought a rush of researchers and interested tourists to the area. This resulted in numerous reports of abnormal occurrences. Some heard strange music emanating from behind the stone. Others claimed that when they put their hands on the door, they could feel energy pulsating from the inside. Some even began having visions of columns of fire and supernatural happenings. In short order, the Peruvian government designated the area a historic site, stopping any further research from taking place and leaving the mystery unsolved.
Other Possible Stargate Locations
Interestingly, the Gate of the Gods is but one of five unusual archaeological sites in close proximity around Lake Titicaca, high in what is now called the Andes Mountains. Travel just across the lake into modern-day Bolivia, and there stands the perplexing Gate of the Sun, a 10-foot tall archway fashioned from a single piece of stone, resting seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Into this gate is carved the glowing face of the sun god, surrounded by a series of unusual inscriptions believed by some to possess astronomical and astrological significance. Over the years, many in the area have reported significant UFO activity near the gate, twinkling blue lights, and glowing white disks, and there are some who believe the gate is a portal through which these UFOs travel.
Remarkably, if one were to draw a line between the Gate of the Sun and the Gate of the Gods, and then a similar line between each of the other unusual archaeological points in the area, what emerges is a grid pattern with the lines intersecting in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Perhaps this is significant. According to the creation myth of the area’s ancient peoples, those who long predate the rise of the Incan empire, Lake Titicaca was the cradle of human civilization, the place from which the god Con Tiqui emerged, bringing human beings with him into this world.
Another layer was added to the intrigue when, in 2000, archaeologists discovered an underwater temple at the heart of Lake Titicaca. How could such a thing have gotten there? The water levels of the lake have receded over time, but underwater now was underwater then. Further, could this temple, at the center of an ancient grid, tie together the area’s mysterious gateways?
The answer to these questions may be found across the world, in another place where sacred lines intersect at an ancient temple.
The Disappearance of the Stonehenge Hippies
In August of 1971, a group of American hippies decided to travel across the ocean and visit England’s historic Stonehenge monument. Like many in the flower power generation, they had heard what people were saying about Stonehenge – that it existed at the intersection of 14 ancient lay lines which met at its center, bestowing the area with unusual energetic properties. And so, they loaded up their camping equipment and a couple of bags of pot and set out for the hallowed ground.
When they arrived, they found the site deserted, as it often was in the days before it became a major tourist attraction closely monitored and regulated by the government. They set up at the very center of the circle and made a campfire, eating and singing and generally enjoying themselves. Until 2:00 A.M., that is, when a thunderstorm began to blow overhead. This was not any usual thunderstorm. Without warning, lightning poured from the sky, striking the trees around Stonehenge and even the stones themselves. Drawn by the weather, and the bloodcurdling screams emanating from the site, two witnesses, a local beat cop and a farmer, rushed to the area. When they arrived, a blue light was shining so brightly from the site that they had to look away.
Finally, the storm abated, and they rushed to the stones, expecting to find the source of the screams badly injured or even dead. Instead, what they found disturbed them – a smoldering campfire, a couple of collapsed tents, and backpacks strewn about… but no people. What had become of the hippies, no one was quite sure; they had seemingly vanished into thin air.
Most curiously, inside one of the backpacks, they found a diary, whose author, a young woman named Wilma Rupert, had recorded the journey right up until the storm.
“I knew it would rain. It always rains where the blue glow comes. I see him every night, but I don’t tell the guys. I stop seeing only when I’m drunk enough. Once they took my dad to heaven. He managed to tell me that they would not come after me if I was too drunk.
In the past few weeks I didn’t drink, especially when I learned that we were going to Stonehenge. Sheri is very afraid of lightning. I think that the lightning will strike close to us.
It is noisy outside and lightning strikes trees. Sheri is afraid, but he needs to be afraid of another. The blue glow is very close. If someone finds this entry, then demolish this godforsaken place.”
The question is, who are “they,” those who come with the “blue glow,” who Wilma Rupert was so “afraid of?” Some may write off Rupert’s diary as the musings of a stoned hippie, rambling about visitors from the sky. Except, she isn’t the only one.
Ancient Records of Stargates and Other Mysteries
In the Jewish and Christian bibles, there is an entry which perhaps could have been written by Rupert herself, in which the prophet Ezekiel describes,
“a whirl-wind […] coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually and a bright light around it, and in its midst something like glowing metal in the midst of the fire.”
Elsewhere, the oral traditions of the Cherokee Native American tribe speak of ‘star people’ appearing from space through a hole in the sky and creating their tribe, while further south, the Turtle Island tribe of what is now Arizona speaks of portals to other worlds all across their territory. To this day, locals in Sedona, Arizona, periodically report seeing a blue light emanating from a natural stone archway in the desert.
Ancient Egyptians, for their part, worshipped the sun god Ra as the king of all gods and creator of the world. Not ten miles from the Great Pyramid of Giza is Abu Gorab, “the crow’s nest,” an ancient temple dedicated to Ra who some believe may have served as a way to visit Ra directly, that is, a portal to the realm of the gods.
In Greco-Roman tradition, the goddess Cybele was known as ‘the guardian of the gateways.’ Often depicted standing next to a gateway to another world, it was said that one needed to ask permission from Cybele in order to move through time and space.
There are many other examples from across cultural traditions. But the question is clear: why is it that so many of the world’s traditions speak of portals to other worlds and visitors from the sky?
Some say that the answer can be found in Sri Lanka at the infamous “Gold Fish Park.” There is housed the mysterious Sakwala Chakraya, roughly translated as “the rotating circle of the universe,” a six-foot stone circle with numerous strange symbols carved into it. It stands as so mysterious because no one is quite sure how old it is, or who might have made it; the carvings do not coincide with any known language.
Some have made an incredible suggestion that the strange symbols are, in fact, a map. And not just any map, but a map of a network of portals called ‘stargates,’ used sometime in the distant past by ancient extraterrestrials when visiting earth. Is this why so many civilizations speak of portals and visitors from the sky? Could ancient extraterrestrials have journeyed to earth using some sort of advanced technology that allowed them to travel great distances? Could such a network of stargates really exist, even to this day?
Modern Cases of Stargate Travel and Dissapearances
On June 23, 1950, Northwest Airlines flight 2501 set off on its usual transcontinental trip from New York City to Seattle, the same as it did every day. Except, this time, something went terribly wrong. While flying over Lake Michigan in the center of the country, the flight’s pilot radioed in about a “severe electrical storm which was lashing the lake with high-velocity winds.” At about the same time, two police officers down on the ground called in an unconnected report of a strange red light hovering over the lake.
Suddenly, flight 2501 disappeared from airport radar, presumably crashing into the lake with its 58 passengers. At the time, it was the deadliest commercial airline collision in American history. Yet, despite extensive searches that carried on for years, no wreckage was ever found.
Incredibly, the flight of 2501 was but one in a long line of mysterious disappearances on Lake Michigan. As early as 1891, a schooner named the Thomas Hume disappeared with its crew of seven, with no trace of either ever found. In 1937, the captain of a ship called the O.M. McFarland vanished from inside his locked cabin, seemingly into thin air while on the route across the lake. In fact, not three years after Northwest Airlines flight 2501 vanished, a US Air Force jet disappeared while in pursuit of a strange UFO, which had shown up unexpectedly on military radar. The jet was never found.
These and many other disappearances have led to a particular portion of Lake Michigan becoming known as the ‘Lake Michigan Triangle.’
And the mysterious phenomenon associated with this triangle continues into modern times. In 1994, hundreds of witnesses called police at once to report a series of unusual bright lights over the lake. As one local resident described,
“I watched them for half an hour. Where I’m facing them, the one on the far left moved off. It moved to the highway and then came back in the same position. The one to the right was gone in blink of an eye, and then, eventually, everything disappeared quickly.”
In fact, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service who was watching the radar that day gave his account to the newspaper, stating,
“There were three and sometimes four blips, and they weren’t planes. Planes show as pinpoints on the scope, these were the size of half a thumbnail. They were from 5 to 12,000 feet at times, moving all over the place. Three were moving toward Chicago. I never saw anything like it before, not even when I’m doing severe weather.”
What were these “blips,” and where did they come from? Over a decade later, an unrelated discovery offered a possible answer.
While searching for shipwrecks at the bottom of Lake Michigan using sonar equipment in 2007, Mark Holley, a professor of underwater archaeology at Northwestern Michigan University College, found something totally unexpected. There, at the bottom of Lake Michigan, was a 40-foot ring of large stones placed in a circle, an arrangement not totally unlike that of Stonehenge some 4000 miles away. Most curiously, just outside the circle, sat a giant boulder with what appeared to be a carving of a mastodon on it, an animal extinct on earth for over 10,000 years.
What was this mysterious arrangement of stones, which seemed to mirror not only Stonehenge but the underwater temple found at the bottom of Lake Titicaca? Could these sites be part of some sort of network of ancient stargates, detailed in the “rotating circle of the universe” of Sri Lanka? Perhaps those vessels which had disappeared had somehow traveled through these portals.
Interestingly, the archaeological anomalies at the bottom of lakes Michigan and Titicaca are far from the only ancient underwater sites in the world. There are hundreds at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea alone, for example, and many more hidden deep in oceans.
Of course, perhaps the most famous underwater site is the one that cannot be found.
In December of 1970, US Air Force pilot Bruce Gernon filed an unusual report. He had been flying with a team off the coast of Florida when suddenly, they were engulfed by a cloud some 60,000 feet high.
“Upon entering the cloud we witnessed an uncanny spectacle. It became dark and black, without rain, and visibility was about 4 or 5 miles. There were no lightning bolts, only extraordinarily bright white flashes that would illuminate the entire surrounding area. The deeper we penetrated, the more intense the flashes became.
All of our electronic and magnetic navigational instruments were malfunctioning. The compass was slowly spinning even as the airplane flew straight. I contacted Miami and told them we were about 45 miles southeast of Bimini, heading east at 10,500 feet. The radar controller replied that he was unable to identify us anywhere in that area.”
When they finally made it out of the cloud and back to the home base, things only got more bizarre.
“After we landed at Palm Beach, I realized that the flight had taken a little less than 47 minutes. I thought something must have been wrong with the airplane’s timer, yet all three of our watches showed that it was 3:48 P.M. I had never made it from Andros to Palm Beach in less than 75 minutes, even on a direct route. Our course on this flight was quite indirect and probably covered close to 250 miles. How could the airplane travel 250 miles in 47 minutes? We taxied to customs, ending the fortuitous flight. We didn’t talk about it for a long time.”
Of course, the area which Gernon had been flying over, that nefarious space between Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and Miami, where, for hundreds of years, planes and ships have disappeared without explanation, is known as the Bermuda Triangle. And its anomalies are well recognized. The US Coast Guard acknowledges extreme environmental irregularities in the area, while scientists have reported magnetic and gravitational forces, which cannot be explained by conventional physics.
It is also known that beneath the Bermuda Triangle are some of the deepest sub-oceanic trenches in the world. Many have wondered, what could be down in these unexplored depths? Some believe that, like Lake Michigan and Lake Titicaca, what must exist beneath the Bermuda Triangle is some sort of ancient archaeological site. But consider, if there is a correlation between these underwater sites and disappearances or anomalies on top of the water, as there appears to be with the Lake Michigan Triangle and Lake Titicaca’s portals, then surely what must be under the Bermuda Triangle is not just an archaeological site, but the archaeological site.
For this reason, it has been proposed that what lies under the Bermuda Triangle is, in fact, the mythical lost city of Atlantis, that it was Atlantis at the center of a global network of stargates, a network still occasionally in operation today, swallowing vessels from the Bermuda Triangle into its portal.
This begs an important question: if such a network of stargates still existed today, what lengths would modern governments and other organizations go to in order to get control of this network?
Some say there is an answer to that as well.
Iraqi War Over Ancient Stargate?
The modern country of Iraq has played a prominent role in human history. It is said to be the location of the biblical Garden of Eden, that is, the place where the human race was created. Going back further, ancient Sumerian texts from the area tell of human interaction with gods called the Anunnaki, who some have speculated were not gods at all, but extraterrestrial visitors. The thought follows that if the Anunnaki really were extraterrestrial visitors, then perhaps they traveled to and from the earth via a stargate.
Some believe that not only did such a stargate exist in ancient times, but that it remains in Iraq to this day and, in fact, was rediscovered in the 1920s. According to the theory, when the British invaded Iraq in 1920, purportedly to stop an uprising, they were, in fact, searching for the stargate. Further, by World War II, German support of Arab nationalists in Iraq was serving as cover for the Third Reich’s pursuit of said stargate.
Could this be true? War over decades as cover for the pursuit of ancient technology? If so, then what follows is obvious.
In 2003, despite global criticism, the United States invaded Iraq. There have been many reasons floated for why the US did this, from George W. Bush’s childish “freedom” narrative, to the need to control Iraq’s oil. However, Dan Burisch offers a different explanation. He asserts that he was part of a covert US government team sent into Iraq at the start of the war in order to find the stargate. According to Burisch, intelligence suggested Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein had uncovered the portal in the 1980s, and many were concerned that he might figure out how to use it. After a failed attempt to find the stargate under the guise of the Gulf War in the early-90s, the US went back in 2003, in a war which remains ongoing to this day.
Here it is worth mentioning the story of Michael E Ryan. In February of 2001, a few months before the 9/11 attacks, Ryan, who was at the time the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, appeared on an episode of the popular television series Stargate SG-1. As strange as it is for a sitting military Chief of Staff to appear on a television program, it is even more strange that he would appear on a show about the government hiding secret alien technology they used to travel through space called stargates.
Some have suggested that this was a form of soft disclosure, the military getting the public ready to accept that this type of technology exists. Others have suggested they were trolling. Regardless, one thing which is neither trolling nor conspiracy is the fact that the US military, as well as many other organizations, have been actively interested in the type of technology depicted on the Stargate SG-1 television show. In fact, they still are.
Stargate Technology Explained by Wormholes
In 1935, Albert Einstein and his colleague Nathan Rosen used Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity to propose the existence of bridges through space-time, that is, short cuts from one point to another. Picture space-time as a piece of paper. Draw two dots on the paper, then fold it over, so the dots meet. Where the two dots meet is the bridge; matter can be moved from one dot to the other without going the long way across the paper.
These Einstein-Rosen bridges have come to be known as wormholes, and they have received much attention from the scientific community since the time they were first proposed. This, because in theory, the bridge could be across the universe, or two different universes, or even points in time, allowing for time travel. In their own way, Einstein and Rosen were early pioneers of modern stargate technology.
Critics of the theory point out that Einstein-Rosen wormholes would be useless because of their extreme instability. Matter could not actually be sent through the hole, because it would collapse too quickly. Some have suggested that something called exotic matter is needed to stabilize, that a wormhole containing exotic matter could be made to stay open, even expand and contract. However, scientists are not even sure exotic matter exists in the universe, let alone how it might be harnessed to create an intergalactic highway. That is to say, they are a long way away.
But just because they don’t know how to control it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
In the 1990s, NASA’s Global Geospace Science Polar satellite spent years in the earth’s magnetosphere, during which time it recorded a number of anomalies, places where space-time was being distorted. Amazingly, these anomalies seemed to be acting like portals, allowing energetic particles to flow through, enough to heat the earth’s upper atmosphere, to start geomagnetic storms, even impact the Northern Lights. Consequently, NASA sought to further study this phenomenon. There was just one problem; the portals were erratic and unstable, some opening and closing many times per day, others existing for only a short time. Before they could study the portals, they had to find them, and they couldn’t figure out when and where they were going to appear.
That is, until 2014, when University of Iowa plasma physicist Jack Scudder had a major breakthrough. Using the data from NASA’s Polar satellite and its follow up THEMIS satellite from the 2000s, Scudder discovered a way to find the portals. And, once he did, he realized something astonishing – they were everywhere, all around earth’s atmosphere and beyond.
In some cases, there appeared, as he described,
“…places where the magnetic field of Earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun, creating an uninterrupted path leading from our own planet to the sun’s atmosphere 93 million miles away.” In other words, these were portals that allowed matter to, in effect, jump almost 100 million miles instantly. He called these portals “X-points.”
In 2015, NASA launched the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission, in order to study them more comprehensively, a study which is still ongoing. What will NASA find? Will the results provide the secret to stargate technology?
What we know for sure is that what might be described as stargates don’t only exist in ancient myths, but in theoretical science, and in the sky above us. Perhaps there is even an ancient network of stargates scattered across the globe. Perhaps one day, we may learn how to use it.
